Color your summer with this 3-step sidewalk paint

Looking for a fun outdoor activity to brighten your summer days? It's time to get crafty and ditch boring, old sidewalk chalk, then! Swap it for easy-peasy sidewalk *paint*–AKA the DIY you need. With the simplest of household ingredients, you can paint with beautiful color on sidewalks and any similar surfaces. Gather some paintbrushes and your pals and get ready to paint the town.

What you need:

1 part water

1 part cornstarch

Food dye

Paintbrushes

How to make it:

1. In a bowl, mix 1 part water with 1 part cornstarch until the two ingredients are completely combined.

2. Add as much or as little food dye into your mixture until you get the color you want. To make more than one color of sidewalk paint, split your mixture into multiple bowls and add different colors to each one.

3. Stir the dye into the water and cornstarch until it is dissolved.

Grab your paintbrush, find an open patch of sidewalk and get painting!

Are you excited to try this sidewalk paint DIY? How do you get creative on summer days?
