Gourmet burgers

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground turkey
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 whole egg
¼ Cup Parmesan
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 tbsp goat or Gorgonzola cheese, divided into 4 equal parts
4 hamburger buns

Directions:
Mix together the turkey, Worcestershire, egg, Parmesan, and salt and pepper. In the bowl, with your hand, roughly divide the mixture into 4 flat, thin patties. Try not to overwork the burgers.

Add 1 tbsp of goat cheese or gorgonzola to the center of the burgers, and carefully fold up the sides of the patty to roll it into a ball surrounding the cheese. Press down to flatten the burgers into thick patties—try to make sure the cheese doesn’t come out of the center.

Grill the burgers 4-5 minutes on each side, adding the buns to the grill for the last 2 minutes to toast. Serve when ready.

You can get creative by slicing apples on top or dipping the burgers in Dijon mustard, ketchup or steak sauce. Delish!
