When faced with the choice between a plate of pancakes or a plate of cinnamon rolls, we're pretty sure you’d have a seriously hard time deciding which you want. We’re here to make all your dreams come true with a recipe that combines the fluffy goodness of pancakes with the cinnamon sweetness of a gooey cinnamon roll. So you *never* have to choose again. This culinary combo of our favorite breakfast treats is the perfect recipe for a lazy Sunday morning this fall.

You’ll need:

Boxed pancake mix or your own fab homemade pancake batter recipe

For cinnamon filling:
½ cup butter (melted)
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Ziploc baggie

For cream cheese glaze:
4 tablespoons butter
2 ounces cream cheese
1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Prepare cinnamon filling: Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and then scoop filling into a Ziploc baggie. Let sit for at least 20 minutes.

2. Make pancake batter using either your own recipe or by following the directions on the back of the boxed mix.

3. Prepare cream cheese glaze: Heat butter and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl until melted then whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla.

4. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-low heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Scoop about 1/2 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet.

5. Snip the corner of a baggie and squeeze filling in a spiral onto the top of the pancake. Flip when bubbles begin to appear.

6. After all pancake are made drizzle warm cream cheese glaze over pancakes and enjoy!
