The spookiest night of the year is less than a week away, which means you only have a few more days to whip up your favorite Halloween treats. Add this recipe to the mix (no pun intended!) to cure any craving. The classic sweet 'n' salty combo is perfect for an on-the-go snack or to dish up at your BFF's costume partyyou can even get creative and customize each batch by picking and choosing your favorite mix-ins.

Peanut Butter Monster Munch Halloween Mix

Ingredients:

12 cups popped popcorn
3 cups mini pretzel twists
1 cup roasted peanuts
1 cup candy corn
1 cup Reese's Pieces
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup creamy peanut but
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
Halloween sprinkles and candy melts (optional for garnish!)

Directions:

1.  Mix the popcorn, pretzels, peanuts, candy corn and Reese's Pieces in a large bowl and set aside.

2. Bring the honey, sugar, peanut butter, salt and butter to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring constantly. Then stop stirring and let boil for five minutes (this is what makes the caramel). Remove from heat and drizzle over the popcorn mix. Toss gently to coat.

3. Spread the coated mixture onto a flat baking sheet covered in parchment paper. You might need two sheets for this. If you want to add melted orange candy or festive sprinkles, do that now. Then, let cool completely and enjoy!
