GL FOOD: Spookily Sweet Frosting Recipe

The Icing on the Cake—Literally!

Whether making the oh-so delish desserts from the October/November issue of GL, or whipping up a scrumptious cake from a box, here’s an easy-breezy recipe for frosting. Yummm!



Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:
3 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
3 C confectioners sugar
1⁄4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, salt, vanilla and 1 cup of the confectioners sugar. Gradually add the sugar until all three cups are incorporated into the cream cheese. Slowly add the milk to the mixture. Add food coloring if you wish to make the frosting festive! Refrigerate until ready to use.
