GL's Back-to-School Fashion Bash: Frequently Asked Questions

FASHION BASH FAQs

If I register for a FREEBIE ticket, will I still get free stuff?
Yes! We’ve got tons of great giveaways, sampling, activities and contests available—all for free. Plus, the concert and fashion show are completely free.

How do I get a swag bag?
To secure a swag bag, register for an upgraded ticket (levels include BESTIE, FANGIRL and VIP). We’re proud to announce that proceeds will benefit our charity partner, BARCS: the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter.

I purchased tickets for a meet-and-greet. How do I select my performers?
GL will contact you directly with details on setting up your meet-and-greet.

Is the event rain or shine?
Yes! Fashion Bash 2016 is completely under cover and air-conditioned—so we’ll be partying rain or shine.

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 1:30pm and performances begin at 2pm. If you’ve purchased an upgraded ticket, you may check in the VIP table beginning at 12pm and you’ll be admitted to your meet-and-greet promptly at 1:30pm.

What should I wear?
Whatever you want…but we suggest coming in your cutest concert gear! There will be tons of opportunities to take photos and hop into photobooths.

Where should I park?
There are multiple parking garages near Power Plant Live!, as well as metered street parking nearby. Some garages will fill—we suggest arriving early.

What can I bring with me?
The following items are permitted: small bag/purse, cameras, selfie sticks, personal medications. No large bags/luggage will be permitted. We kindly ask that families with strollers docked them at the main entrance.

Can I bring in food or drink?
Please feel free to bring bottled water, but no other outside food or beverage is allowed. Power Plant Live! has tons of great dining options right onsite at the event.

Who can come to Fashion Bash 2016?
Our event is designed for tween and teen girls, as well as the family/friends/siblings/chaperones accompanying them. We kindly ask that only our teen/tween guests partake in the freebies and activities. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the performances and fashion show.

Is there first-aid onsite at the event?
No. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.

I purchased an upgraded ticket and can’t attend anymore. Can I return my ticket?
Sorry, we are unable to issue refunds.

Is the event accessible?
Yes. Contact Kelsey Haywood (kelsey@girlslife.com) to make special arrangements.
