This mango salsa is the fresh and healthy snack you *need*

In the mood for something sweet and fresh, but also healthy? This delicious mango salsa is just the thing. Almost everyone loves chips and salsa, so this healthy twist will no doubt be a hit at your next neighborhood cookout. Your guests will be reaching for bite after bite without the calorie guilt.

What you’ll need:

3-4 ripe mangos

1/3 cup of cilantro

1 jalapeno

1 lime

2 ripe tomatoes

1/2 of a red onion

1 red bell pepper



1. Chop up all of your fresh ingredients (except the lime) into bite-sized, salsa-like chunks and mix them together in a large bowl.

2. Slice your lime in half. Squeeze the juice from both halves into the bowl.

3. Sprinkle mixture with salt. Add as much salt as you prefer. How much just depends on the amount of salty-sweetness you like.

4. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow the salsa to chill in the fridge for about an hour. This allows all the flavors to mix and mingle–delicious!  

Enjoy with blue corn tortilla chips or, for the perfect summer meal, on top of homemade tacos or quesadillas.
