10 fruits you should be eating right now for glowing skin

Time to pack up your heavy foundation and concealer for the season. Summer is *all* about bare-faced beauty. And one way to get that gorgeous glow we all want is to eat right. So many fruits have vitamins and antioxidants that will help you snag clear skin and boost your overall health, too. Peep our list below and try one of the delish recipes we've rounded up. 


1. Lemons. Lemons have antibacterial properties and are high in Vitamin C, both of which brighten your skin. You can put small amounts of lemon juice on your face as a toner, or drink lemon juice with ginger in the mornings with your breakfast. 

2. Watermelon. Watermelon contains antioxidants like lycopene which help slow down the aging of your skin. Cool down with this watermelon popsicle recipe.

3. Strawberries. Like lemons, the acidic nature of strawberries brightens up the skin. Plus, they're high in folic acid, which helps create new skin cells so bake up a batch of these strawberry oatmeal cookies.

4. Cherries. Cherries are high in Vitamin A, B, C & E which all help replenish the skin. Drinking this cherry banana smoothie will definitely clear up your complexion.
