EXPERT TIP: Nutritious Fruit Snacks

When we asked nutritionist Cynthia Pasquella about a fab fall snack, she raved about pomegranates.

“One of my favorite foods for fall is pomegranates,” Cynthia gushes. “Not only are they delicious but this amazing little fruit is a rich source of vitamins A, C and E. They're also packed with antioxidants to give you clear, glowing skin and help soothe inflammation.” Love that. These delish fruits are in season in fall, so start popping them in the grocery cart!

Our fave ways to eat pomegranates:

*Pry a pom open and eat the seeds plain! Those juicy gems taste great as is.

*Sprinkle a few seeds on top of a salad. They’d be amazing with baby spinach, chicken and avocado.

*Pour a couple ounces of pomegranate juice in a glass. Add ice and lots of seltzer water. How refreshing!
