Naked juices not exactly all natural. But does it matter?
Not so fast. A recent lawsuit complained that the juices weren't as natural as they claimed to be, since they contained additives that were synthetic rather than, well, natural. These additives, which PepsiCo calls an "added boost of vitamins," include some sort of fiber. Um, yum?
The massive beverage company settled the lawsuit for $9 million, and has said it will remove the "all natural" label from Naked juices until such a time as the term becomes more strictly regulated. Right now, the FDA doesn't define the term "natural" at all, so companies have been using it willy-nilly to describe products that are more factory-based than farm-fresh, which is what the term leads ya to believe.
Does this sort of discovery matter to you, babes? Will you stop drinking Naked juices?
