The snooze button is tanking your day--quit punching it!
Not only are you behind schedule, but the extra zzz's you thought were getting were the lowest quality possible. Science says that when your head hits the pillow for the second, third and fourth teeny interval in the a.m., chances are you'll wake up far more groggy than you would have if you'd just gotten up when your original alarm dinged. Ouch.
Instead of settling for the mirage of snoozing sleep, try setting your alarm for a little bit later, revamping your evening routine so ya hit the hay earlier or move your alarm clock across your room. That way, you'll have to get up and out of bed to turn the annoying noise off, and by the time you're over there, really, you might as well go eat breakfast or something, right? Right.
