10-minute Santa sing-a-long sweat sesh

Get ready to crank those carols! Here’s the deal: We’ve got one move for ya to do for the duration of a classic tune. Ready to rock out the reps? Let’s go!

“Jolly Old St. Nicholas”

Time to “lean your ear this way.” Stand with your feet spread shoulders’ width apart and your hands on your hips. Reach your left hand up and over your head, arching your arm to the right. Stretch your body out, and alternate sides.

Time: About 1 minute

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”

OK, we know reindeer don’t fly like birds, but go with us on this one. Stand with your feet spread shoulders’ width apart and your arms outstretched to the sides. Beat your arms up and down in time to the beat. You’ll be feeling your shoulders and biceps in no time!

Time: About 3 minutes

“Jingle Bell Rock”

Channel the “dancin’ and prancin’” lyric and tackle the stairs with gusto. Try to keep your feet moving as quickly as you can without tripping or—eek!—falling up or down the steps. Yowtch.

Time: About 2 minutes

“Here Comes Santa Claus”

Deep breath—it’s time for frog jumps. Squat down on the floor and leap as high as you can to “hang your stocking”. Land softly, take a breath to recover, then do it again.

Time: About 2 minutes

“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”

Skip to my Lou, darlins! Skip in place or around the house or block, being sure to keep a spring in your step and those knees flyin’ high.

Time: About 2 minutes
