Alarming Arm Hair
I have black hair covering my arms, and people always stare at it. Help!
We promise no one notices it as much as you do. “You feel you’re the only one,” says pediatrician Dr. Maida Galvez, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, New York, “but it’s extremely common.”
Some girl have thick gorgeous dark hair on their heads and, well, that usually means it’s on the rest of their bodies, too. Even some blondies have dark arm hair.
The good news is that body hair often thins out as you mature. Meantime, if it really bothers you, bleach it with Sally Hansen Crème Hair Bleach ($7, drugstores). Do not shave arms—the hair will grow back all stubbly.
