What's up with my acne?

I get a lot of zits along my hairline. Why is this, and what can I do to fix it?

Hey girlie,

It’s very common to get zits along your hairline, because your hair naturally has more oil than your face. Also, the problem could be worse if you use a lot of products in you hair that could be affecting your skin. It might help to keep your hair off your face.

If you exercise regularly, you may also find that sweat gathers in that area and causes even more dirt and oil to clog the pores on your forehead.

If your acne’s out of control, it might be worth it to see a dermatologist and find out what he or she says. But if they’re just your routine pimples, I’d suggest washing your face regularly with a gentle acne cleanser from the drugstore. Def make sure to rinse off any dirt or sweat directly after a workout.

Xoxo,
Alissa
