Allergy attack! What should I do?

I've had REALLY bad allergies my whole life, but this year my eye allergies are especially bad. I take allergy medicine and eye drops, but my eyes this year are so sensitive and sore that it’s getting close to breaking the skin around my eyes. I have a constant state of red eyes and skin. Even creams and lotions sting when I apply them. What should I do?

I totally sympathize, babe, ‘cause I’m dealing with spring allergies, too. Since you’ve been dealin’ with crazy symptoms for your entire life, chances are you know all about avoiding allergens and taking your antihistamines. It does sound like they’re out of control this year, so to start finding a solution to your symptoms, I suggest visiting your doc or an allergist ASAP. They might be able to prescribe a special eye drop, skin creams or even change up your allergy meds.

In the meantime, head to the drugstore and pick up a jar of eye cream for sensitive skin. You want something that doesn’t have any fragrance or sunscreen that could irritate your red skin. Look for all-natural ingredients…and the shorter the list of chemicals, the better.

Good luck, sweetie!
