My nipples won't make up their minds

How come my nipples don't stay out all of the time? They only come out when I am cold, why?
Your nipples harden in a response to stimuli, like cold weather, touch or anxiety. Muscles in that area contract and blood rushes in, causing the nipple to stick out over the areola. It’s very much like when your skin gets goose bumps.
While some girls do have pretty perky nipples most of the time, it’s totally typical for your nips to change in response to what’s going on around you. No worries!
