How to get the perfect bikini bod

 

Summer is almost here, and with it comes swimsuit season. Cue the dramatic music.

Every year, girls start stressing about how they’re going to look good in their bikinis, but worry constantly takes so much fun out of summer. If you want a bikini body, all you need to do is put a bikini on your body: It’s as simple as that. Take the stress out of summer, and love the way you look no matter what.

You should always be striving to be your best and healthiest self, but that doesn’t mean that your best, healthiest self looks the same as your besties'. It’s also important to realize that the images you see online aren’t always 100% real. Celeb pics in magazines are often altered, and even the Instas you see of girls you know may have been altered with photoshop or apps like Facetune. Instead of comparing yourself to other people you see, take a step back from social media and realize that the only opinion that matters is your own.

One of the best ways to feel better about yourself is to spread positivity. You know your friends are gorgeous, but have you ever thought that they might not being feel great about the way they look—at least not all the time? Try sending some positive vibes their way, and soon they’ll come back to you.

Above all, remember that the only one who can make you happy is yourself. Wear the clothes that you like and make you feel amazing, because you are. Body positivity is all about just that, being positive—so don’t bring yourself down. Instead, lift yourself up by realizing how great you are.
