One evening my friends and I went rollerskating. It was a couple skate and my friend Ava skated with my crush and I was stuck with Kerahn! Kerahn is an eighth grader at my school. The next day, Kerahn and Ava were talking and he told her that he liked me and asked if I liked him back. Ava told him that I was madly in love with him (Which was not true!). The next day Kerahn asked me to go out with him. I told him heck no! Of course, Ava interfered and told him that I was just scared of true love and told him that I would be thrilled to join him rollerskating that night. That night Ava dragged me to the roller rink, where he was waiting all snazzled up and stuff. I rejected him again because I was certain that my crush was going to ask me out. Oh was I so wrong. The next day, Aiden (my crush) asked Ava out. She said no like a true friend. I still liked Aiden, but little did I know of Kerahn's plan to steal my heart. A week passed and I thought he had forgotten about me. Then he surprised me and asked me to go out with him by giving me a REAL diamond necklace. I kept the necklace through lunch, but by 7th period I gave it back and said, "Heck no am I going out with you!" 7th period became awkward and the whole school found out, including my crush. The next day my crush came up to me and said, "So how was the spicy night with Kerahn?" I turned beet red and ran off, only bumping into Kerahn himself. I will never forget that painful month.
