This happened to my friend actually, not me. She was in the spelling bee this year and they always have to say their name before the first round of the bee to check the microphone. The guy in front of her has the last name Nelson and she's always kind of had a crush on him. Well, when she got up to the microphone, she said her first name, and then started to say Nelson! She got as far as Ne- before she caught herself! Everyone laughed so hard- especially because it was in front of the whole 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades!
