Signs your dad is your best friend

Would you consider yourself a "daddy’s girl?" If so, you know your dad is more than *just* your dadhe's also your best friend and your go-to guy when you need advice. Here’s how to tell if your dad is basically best friend status in your life:

You tell him EVERYTHING.

There is no secret that your dad doesn’t know, from your crushes to your girl drama and he is always on your side. He may not like everything you tell him but at the end of the day, you still feel comfortable telling him anyway.

You have him wrapped around your finger.

Dad can’t say “no” to you, even if he wants to. He would do anything to make you happy (just try not to take advantage!).

He's your biggest cheerleader.

There is no dream that is too big, when it comes to you. No matter the size, the risk involved or the challenge, he tells you that you can do anything you set your mind to. And let’s be honest, he will do whatever he can (even sometimes behind your back) to help the job get done because you’re his little girl.

When you cry, he cries.

The biggest pain in the world for your papa is watching you in pain...so when your eyes water, so do his, even if he doesn't show it. But at the same time, you feel safe crying with him because he loves you so much.

He threatens to hurt anyone who hurts you (but never actually does).

After watching you cry, Dad is out for revenge. He makes plans with you to get back at them, but in reality those plans never happen. Instead, you both sit down and watch movies together. He makes you laugh and smile, and helps you forget why you were even upset in the first place.

He loves quality time with you more than anything else.

Daddy-daughter time is something he looks forward to. As you get older, never forget that. In his eyes you will always be his little girl, so he lives for the moments he gets to share with you, and face it, you do too.

He reminds you how perfect you are.

Even when you’re ugly crying, failed your last math test or even missed the point at your volleyball game, he reminds you that you are still perfect. Everyone messes up at some point but Dad is there to make sure it doesn’t get you down. You are still perfect in his eyes.
