Make friends at camp in 60 seconds flat

We’ve all been that new girl at least once in our lives. It can be pretty tough to make a bunch of new besties at camp, especially since you may already be out of your comfort zone. But trust us, chica, you can make a brand-new sisterhood in seconds. Here's how:

Smile—it makes a great first impression: you’ll look approachable and friendly. People want to become friends with people who are nice, so show them you’re just that!
Say hi first. You may think you’re the only one who is nervous about making friends, but we promise you’re not alone! Someone else is probably feeling exactly the same way, and they may be too shy to say something first. So, go up, introduce yourself, and say hey. Who knows, she may end up being your bestie!
Find common ground. Talk about the activity you’re doing or ask them what they like. Chances are you’ll like some of the same stuff, too!
Don’t over-think it. If you’re too busy worrying about making friends, you may miss your chance. So instead, focus on being the Y-O-U all your other friends totally love. And remember, you’ve got this, girl!
