10 ways to show your bestie you're thankful for her
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and it's the perfect time to tell your bestie just how much she means to you. Need some inspo on how? We've got you, babes! Here are 10 tips for letting your BFF know how thankful you are for her.
1. Make her a playlist
Nothing says "I love you" like a custom Spotify playlist. Add some of your bestie's fave tunes (including all of the tracks from Midnights, ofc) and some of yours, too! Whenever she listens to it, she'll think of you.
2. Write her a handwritten note
Writing your BFF a handwritten letter is the oldest trick in the book. It's cute, it's classy and it's something she can keep forever. Now's the time to break out your card stock and glitter glue and get to crafting!
3. Take her on a friend date
Your bestie has been wanting to go on a cozy fall picnic 4ever. Pack up a blanket, some snacks and your polaroid camera and take her on a friend date at the park. (All the inspo here!) Don't forget to pack a jacket so you can stay extra warm.
4. Plan an at-home spa day
Finals, basketball practice and auditions for the winter musical have been keeping your bestie *so* busy, and she def needs some me-time. Invite her to your house, queue up your "Serenity" playlist on Spotify and give her the spa day of her dreams.
5. Annotate her fave book
Your BFF has been raving about the new CoHo book for weeks and she just lent you her copy. Take out your purple gel pens and some sticky notes and leave some super sweet messages in the margins of her book.
6. Plan a movie night
Enola Holmes 2 is officially out, and you and your bestie could not be more hyped. Show your BFF a little love by planning a movie night to watch it, complete with popcorn, ofc!
7. Cook her fave meal
Is food a love language? We say yes, and we bet your BFF does, too. She will appreciate a home-cooked meal from you. It's time to channel some professional chef energy, babes!
8. Make matching friendship bracelets
You can *never* go wrong with matching friendship bracelets. They're fun to make and literally the cutest. Take a trip to Joann Fabrics, pick out embroidery thread in your bestie's fave colors and check out this GL article on how to make the most iconic bestie bracelets ever.
9. Give her a warm hug
Sometimes it's the simple things that matter the most. Giving your BFF a hug can help reduce stress (for both of you) and boost dopamine and serotonin in your brain (AKA happiness!).
10. Send her a text with all the things you love about her
If you want a quick way to let your bestie know you're thankful for her, a text is totally the way to go. Open the notes app and draft a text with all the things you love about your BFF. Does she make you smile every time you see her? Tell her! Do you admire how honest and confident she is? Add it to the text!
