Feeling not-so-chill? This one song will fix that

It's widely agreed upon that listening to music is a great way to unwind and relax. But there's more to that reasoning and way of thinking than just the want or need to treat your ears to some sweet tunes—there's science behind it, too.

Certain songs—such as "Weightless" by Marcorni Union, below—are scientifically proven to reduce overall anxiety, according to a study by Mindlab International.

While this song was, in fact, made with that in mind (it was created with the help of sound therapists), other songs such as "Strawberry Swing" by Coldplay and "Someone Like You" by Adele are just normal songs that made it onto the list of 10 that were also tested in the study.

The study asked participants to complete difficult puzzles while listening to different songs, with their heart rate, blood pressure and anxiety levels monitored during the test. Check out a break down of the study below.
