This may seem silly, but one of my greatest fears are guys. I can barely make eye contact, much less start a conversation. It is a bit easier to talk to my older sister's friends, and that helps, because I have a crush on one of them, but I still find it extremely hard to talk to them. How can I stop being shy? P.S. I am not really confident. I am fine with the way I look and everything, I just tend to worry about acting weird.

Hey babe! Getting nervous around guys is totally normal. Just accept and be yourself, self-confidence is very important. If you work on your confidence you will def get more comfortable around boys. xx

I told this guy (through a note) that I really like him, but asked him not to tell anyone because I didn't want my sis to find out. However, I think I may have accidentally freaked him out. How do I calm him down and explain that I don't want to be his gf? I don't want to do it through another note, cuz of how he reacted to the first one.

Hey girl. If he's really freaked out, I think the best way to let him know that you don't want to be his gf is in person. Just pull him aside or ask him to meet you somewhere, and briefly explain what you meant and why you told him the way you did. If you're really worried about your sis finding out, maybe get his number and give him a call instead, but this doesn't seem like something that can be handled via note/email/text.

I really like this guy, and I've told him so. Some days, he is so wonderful and perfect to me. However, other days he completely ignores me. Everyone else always ignores me. How can I get them (epsecially my crush) to stop acting like I'm invisible?

Hey girl, being ignored is never a good feeling. If you really feel like he disrespectfully ignores you, then you might want to consider moving on. You could check out GL's ice breakers- they might help. Good luck!

Okay, so there is this guy at my church that I have a HUGE crush on, and I gave him a note telling him that I do. However, he is 2 years older (I am 13). MY sister found out (by snooping!) and keeps telling me that he is way to old. I don't want to be his girlfriend or anything like that cuz I feel I am to young for that. Is he really too old? I don't trust my sister cuz she has some sort of problem with the fact that he is the deacon's son.

Hey girl, if you really like this guy and he likes you and the people who care about you (like the 'rents) are supportive, then age is not such a big deal. Really, it's up for you to decide. Good luck!

There's this guy that goes to my school named Sam,and I REALLY like him. We're both in this club called Odyessey of the Mind,where you're given a problem and you have to comebup with a creative solution. I told my friends that I like him,and they,bieng the insane people they are,kept annoying him and telling him to ask me out. After I realized what they were doing I apologized to him and he said "No it's okay,I like you too. I just wanna get to know you better before I ask you out. A long while passed and he never did. I texted him and asked him if he still liked me. He said "We should wait to go out after the Odyessey competition." I agreed but I thought about it and I remembered the competition is in MARCH. MARCH. I know it sounds desperate but I really want to go out with him now. How do I tell him that????
