heey mooddd! i have a prob! i reeealy wanna get a speaking role in our school play but all of the girl leads have to sing a solo and i cant sing! like at all! any tips on how to hit those high notes? i dont wanna be in the back again!

Hey girl! I CAN'T sing to save my life. Seriously! So, I don't know exactly how to hit high notes. However, I would just try to relax and remember that being in the back isn't always a bad thing!

Heyy GL... i have this problem with my hair... i've tried everything but i just won't stay soft and silky like the hair of my girl class mates ( if that makes sense) i brush it a lot and it still clumps(sorta) and looks all dirty no matter how much i wash it.. can you give me some tips on how to keep my locks shiny and not yucky??

Hey babe,

You might be overwashing and overbrushing. Try washing your hair every other day and using a wide toothed comb to get rid of the nots rather than a hairbrush. Let your hair air dry and try using serums aimed to help get that sliky, smooth look.

I have a crazy life! My mom is an alcohalic, my dad yells nonstop and then acts all sweet afterwards like he didn't even do anything wrong, my dad blames everything on my brothers,sister, and I when my mom yells at him, and worst of all, my mom is cheating on my dad with one of our close family friends and I'm the only one that knows!I'm only 12! I don't know what to do! Help me!!!

Like I said earlier, I don't trust anyone. I'm always feeling empty inside and my mom is always being obnoxious to me. People have suggested counciling, but I think that's extreme. I used to use a diary but it just isn't enough anymore. I feel trapped in my house. I am so bored with my life, even though I do drama, hang out with friends, and more. for my birthday my brother got my these neon socks i had been dying to have. so one day i wore then to school and of corse we change for gym. i had on bermudas and my knee highs were making me hot so i pulled them down and my friend said omg you don't shave. she told me i needed to. i asked 3 other friends about it and they all shave like my other friend. i asked my mom and she says well once your start shaving you have to do it for the rest of your life. plus everytime i bring it up she says that. it makes me worry! i meen i don't want to shave but i don't want to be a hairy gorilla!

Could you and your friends have fun with it without being the best actors? Maybe try to meet other people at local film clubs to help ya out. But otherwise, it takes lots of technology to manipulate footage so you can play everyone. At your age, it may be best just to have many actors. Best,

If you find something you have in common with the guy thats a good place to start. Also a good way to start a conversation is to compliment his outfit or something. As long as you get the conversation started you can start talking about hobbies and get to know each other. my sister always lies to my parents and she always gets away with it. i always try my best to tell the truth to my parents but they always believe her. she is younger than me but only by 2 years. what do i do? i always get blamed for the things she does and she never serves the copnsiquences for what she has done. so she thinks she can do it over and over again. i tried talking about it to her but she only tells my parents that i am acusing her of lying and then i get in trouble for it.

Try to pick your battles with this one. If your parents tend to believe her then you'll have to wait to challenge them when you can prove she's lying so you can build up their trust. Your sister will probably grow out of this and until the more responsible and trustworthy you are with your parents the easier it will be for them to believe you next time.

Hey babe, a lot of times there's little you can do to stop it and you just have to wait it out until it clears. You should wash your face twice a day and if that doesn't work, make an appointment with a dermatologist to get a treatment plan for your particular skin.

I have a delema because my under arms and legs are hairy, but my dad will not let me shave. I am 11 years old, I am not a baby. All of my friends shave. Another female will understand what it's like to have embarrassing unwanted hair and will want to help you remove it to make you feel more comfortable in your own skin!! Good luck! Okay i got a lil problem on my hands. I have a crush and im a freshman and hes a sophmore. I like him and he likes me. And its been goin around school that we like each other and i dont really care about that... its just that if i DO go out with him, i would be the first girl to have a boyfriend in high school in my family as a teen, because my 2 older sisters never had boyfriends in high school. im afraid to tell my parents because they will freak out and they would tell me to get studies done. MOD MOD MOD I'm the 2nd youngest of 4. My oldest sib is at collgege and the 2nd oldest is a junior in high school. My little bro lives in Arizona with my mom, where my older brother goes to college. My parents aren't divorced though. Also, my dad works a lot. I'm a freshman. My sister (the junior) always makes rude comments about me and my friends and steals our stuff. THen she calls my mom and complains about how I always throw tantrums. I don't do anything but I always get in trouble because my parents believe my sister. THEY HATE ME! I need to explain but they never want to listen. I need help stopping my sister and convincing my parentss! I can't take it plz help!

Hey girl! Sometimes you can get a little exercise in, without feeling like it's actually exercise! Go for a nice walk outside! If you have a dog, take a walk with your dog! Go roller skating with a friend or take a bike ride! Getting outdoors is an easy way to get exercise...without feeling like it's a hassle.

Hey chica, if you can't stop your friends from saying bad things about you, maybe they shouldn't be your friends. A friend is supposed to be the one who stops other people from saying bad things about you not the one spreading mean things. But before you decide to stop being their friend, confront them about the rumors. And also let them know that if they can't accept you being friends with those other girls, then they can't accept you.

I'm in need of some serios help please..... Before school ended last year, my boyfriend's dad was diagnosed with cancer. Now he's going out of town for surgeries to get rid of the cancer. I know my guy is majorly stressed about it and I can't help whatsoever. It makes me feel bad that I can't help, but it really upsets me because my boyfriend takes his stress/frustrations out on me. I'm trying to be understanding, but in all honesty it really hurts to be treated badly. I'm not quite sure what to do in this situation; should I let him know how I feel or just keep quiet and hope everything gets better when his dad (hopefully) recovers?

Hey girl, I'm sorry to hear about your bf's dad, but it's not right for him to take out his hard feelings on you. Those people tend to hurt those they love the most, it's important you speak up. Gently tell your bf that you'll support him through whatever but it hurts when he treats you the way he does. He should listen and be considerate. If not? Take a step back. Okay this is a long story but get ready to read i know i'm young but in 4th grade my bf devin and i had a rockin relationship but in 5th grade we where still good until i kissed him then know in 6th grade this summer he broke up with me through email and i was so sad/mad and i still secretly like him and also i like this guy named nathan but i told my friend ian to go ask what is name was and he told me why so i said because i like him and ian told him i like him but ian told me that nathan said "not a chance" i was so dissapointed that he would say something like that, PLEASE help me!
