My BFF keeps trying to set me up with my crush, but I’m not ready to go out with boys.

I’ve asked her to stop, but she won’t. How can I get her to buzz off?

Sounds as if your BFF thinks she’s doing you a favor. She’s likely shrugging off your protests because she feels you’re just nervous and will thank her later. If you’re not ready, though, that’s the bottom line.

Tell her that, as much as you appreciate her efforts, it needs to stop, like, yesterday. Let her know you’re serious and to respect your wishes. Then, promise her that when you are ready to date, she’ll be the first person you’ll ask for help.
