Fred: The Movie

By now, you have probably heard of Fred, the YouTube sensation. You know, that internet phenomenon, “Fred Figglehorn,” who embarks on quirky adventures that always seem to result in hilarious outcomes! Lucky for all of us, we can now get even more Fred because he has a new movie coming out! Fred: The Movie premieres this Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

The TV flick follows Fred who, after hearing that his crush Judy has moved away, begins his quest to find her to tell her how he truly feels. His plan ends up making him more popular than he had ever thought possible — and even helps him to get a real shot with Judy — that is, until he realizes that he might be in a little too far over his head!

The hilarious comedy, starring 17-year-old Lucas Cruikshank (the actual “Fred”), has tons of romance and super-sweet moments. (In other words, totally perfect for all you GL gals!) Plus, it features an awesome supporting cast of some of our fave celebs: Jennette McCurdy, John Cena and British singer Pixie Lott.
And for those who heart the film, it’ll be landing on DVD on Oct. 5—just weeks after the premiere!

Be sure to hit up Fred’s YouTube channel www.youtube.com/fred — the second-most subscribed to channel of all time with 1.9 million subscribers. For more info on Fred: The Movie, including some fabulous behind-the-scenes fun, check out Nick.com!
