6 fun facts about Kelsey Chow
You may have seen her as Matisse Burrows in the Disney Channel Original Movie Den Brother this past summer. Now, 19-year-old Kelsey Chow’s teaming up with Mitchel Musso and Doc Shaw for Disney XD’s new live-action comedy series Pair of Kings, premiering Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The show follows two fraternal twin brothers who move to the kooky island Kinkow, filled with zany superstitions and customs, once discovering they are successors to the throne. Kelsey plays Mikayla, the confident assistant to the pair. But in real life she’s even more fab than her character. Don’t believe us? She wishes she could read minds. “Some people are like, ‘I would hate that,’ but I think as long as you had a switch [and] you could turn it on and off, that’d be really cool.”
She’s a little superstitious. “If I ever see black cats on the road, I always do the little cross thing right there. But actually one of my best friends thinks that black cats are good luck so [I don’t know].”
She likes to snack. “Vicki [from craft services] and I are best friends. I go over there all the time. She makes omelets, which are absolutely amazing. I also eat the doughnuts, bagels and Snickers.”
She’s always sporting rings. “I am obsessed. I would have more. I have to go buy some more.”
ChapStick’s her beauty must. “I love Nivea A Kiss of Moisture.”
She’s claustrophobic. “It used to be worse when I was younger but I think it’s still kind of there.”
