To the Little Girl Dressed All in Blue

Here’s an original poem from a GL reader. Tell us what you think!

Little girl dressed in all in blue I know what your going through for you feel lost and so unliked that just for spite you get in a fight and you punch and kick with all your might.

You come out with a bloody nose and a black eye that really shows, the other child not a mark on his despicable face, but instead you get the blame and they look down on you with such disgrace.

But don’t you worry,
don’t you cry anymore, because I’ve been there many times before.

But don’t you worry now because things will get better somehow, someday you'll leave this place and go somewhere to have your own space.

But until that day comes let it be known, trust me when I say you are not alone.
