Cheer for a Cause

Calling all cheerleaders! Cheer for a Cause, led by cheer coach Julie Bolton, is a new way to unite with cheerleaders from all communities in order to raise money and awareness for charity.

There’s nothing better than getting a crowd rowdy and pumped up, then doing it for something important that affects all families out there! Cheer for a Cause is an organization that brings together all cheerleaders by showing off what squads through out the country have been participating in for charity events, in hopes of inspiring other squads to get involved.

The group selects a trusted charity every month, and then reaches out to different squads and members of the “cheer world family” to donate $1.  They make the gift personal and call attention by introducing us to cheer members who have been affected by the cause. October, as Breast Cancer Awareness month, is the first month to do this and Cheer for a Cause has chosen Susan B. Komen’s Passionately Pink for the Cure ®. A team donation page has already been set up, so be sure to check it out.

You can also visit their official Facebook page to find out how your squad can get involved.
