Finding the perfect Christmas gift is always tricky, but in this case, small and sweet is the perf way to go. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right gift in stores, so why not make something?

Don’t be afraid to let your creativity shine. Since he’s your BGF, you two must have loads of cute inside jokes. You can start by making him a personalized card. Construction paper and markers aren’t just for kids, you know! Fill your card with memories and fun times you’ve shared, and you can even glue in pictures or notes or mementos from activities you’ve done together.

Turn your card into a small-scale scrapbook if you want, but remember to keep it fun. A “novel card” (a card that has so many pages it looks more like a book) is sweet, but ya don’t want to go too overboard in case he doesn’t reciprocate. You wouldn’t want him to feel bad if you got him something big and he ends up getting you something small or nothing at all.

If you’re proud of your personalized “scrapbook card,” there’s no reason to feel like you have to buy him something on top of that, but if the card idea isn’t working out or you’re not too artistic, then buy him something funny or low-key.
