I had a HUGE crush on this one guy for a year, so of course when he asked me to prom, I was thrilled. I had my dress on and my hair and makeup all done up and was literally waiting for him to pick  me up when he texted me, "Did you really think I liked you? My friend paid me to ask you to the dance. I don't actually plan on wasting my night dancing with an ugly girl like you!" I was so upset, instead of going to the dance, I ran up to my room and cried for 3 hours. What a jerk, right?!
