Shane Harper's hip new playlist

You might’ve recently seen him on the road with Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance’s Waiting 4 U Tour, or you may love him as Spencer Walsh, Teddy Duncan’s BF in Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie. But the triple threat should also be blowing up your playlists this spring and summer. Shane just released his self-titled debut, nine tracks of what he describes as a, “Feel-good pop/acoustic record that’s a real summer album.”
We caught up with this cutie and had him spill the deets on the biggest hits off his album. Add them to your iPod and groove along through the upcoming sizzling temps.

“Rocketship”: Shane’s favorite song to perform
“It’s a song that everyone kind of connects to right away. When I do it live and acoustic with just my guitar on stage, it’s really special.”

“Hideaway”: The most difficult song for Shane to record
“We cut vocals quite a few times on that one. The producer, Adam Anders, who does the music for Glee, was very specific about he wanted it to sound like. Vocally, it’s a bit more technical.”

“I Know What I Know”: One song every girl can dance to
“It has that fun dance vibe behind it. I’m a dancer and when it comes on I’m like, ‘I just gotta dance.’”

One Step Closer”: The perfect road trip tune
“I’ve gotten many tweets from fans saying they listen to it in the car with the windows rolled down. It’s [all about] having a good time.”
