Frame your vacay memories
When it comes to preserving your best fun in the sun
moments, it’s all in the frame. Why settle for something plain when your photo
holder can share memories just as naturally as the picture itself? Here at GL,
we’re using odds and ends from our vacays—think ticket stubs, funny flyer
cutouts, maps and more—to give our frames a bit o’ flavor.
What you’ll need:
A photo from your last vacation
A simple frame from a crafts store
Ephemera—ticket stubs, maps, seashells, etc.
Glue—we’re prefer hot glue
What you’ll do:
Spread newspaper over your work surface, lay out all the
bits and pieces you have to work with and start arranging them over the surface
of your frame. Maybe you want to cover the frame with a map of your fave
European city, or add a few details to the corners. It’s totally up to you!
When you’ve decided on a look, cut it out and glue it on. Be sure to let the
glue dry completely before you pop in your picture. Then display for the world
to see.
