Spotted: Spy Kids 4 star Mason Cook

Sometimes it can be hard to find a movie the whole family can watch together in theaters. But Spy Kids: All the Time in the World 4-D (in theaters starting today) looks like a winner!
Just think about it: Action, comedy and 4-D effects. Who doesn't love that? GL caught up with one of the stars of the new flick, 11-year-old Mason Cook, and asked him to spill some spy-on-the-set secrets.
GL: Tell us about your character, Cecil Wilson, in Spy Kids?

Mason: Cecil is very intelligent and he can solve any question you give him. He’s hearing impaired, but that doesn’t hold him back from saving the world.

Did you get to use any spy technology in the film?
Cecil has really awesome gadgets. I don’t want to give away too many secrets, but it’s kind of like the kid version of the Green Lantern.
What was the funniest thing that happened while filming?
There was one scene where I get half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich smushed in my face. The whole part of the sandwich was peanut butter so it was sticky.

Now, just for fun, if you could have any superpower right now, what would it be?

Being able to fly…and super strength.
Why should we all check out Spy Kids: All the Time in the World this weekend?
It’s an action-packed adventure with some familiar faces, spies and a new villain.
Be sure to check out Mason in action in Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (in theaters now) which also stars Jessica Alba and the original Spy Kids Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara.
Excited for the new Spy Kids installment? Blog about it, babes!
