Take my heart
hold it tight
we may argue, fuss, and fight
yet you've never let a tear fall from my eye
we are human
so we live and learn
that love isn’t easy
it’s a treasure to earn
so just hold me close
stand by my side
hand in hand
intertwined
my motivation
when I need it most
my happy pill
when I need a dose
my best friend
