Our fave classics to request at Homecoming

It’s almost Homecoming! And while we don’t have John Hughes (Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink) directing our lives, we can still try and have a rockin’ time (and impress our buds) with some oldies flair. In the mix of all the new songs played, chat up the DJ at this year’s Homecoming dance and ask him to play some of these classic hits our ‘rents must have jammed to.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” – Elton John and Kiki Dee
“My Girl” – The Temptations
“I Want You to Want Me” – Cheap Trick
“(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” – Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes
“Apache (Jump On It)” – Sugarhill Gang
“Every Breath You Take” – The Police
“Can’t Help Falling In Love” – Elvis Presley
“Somebody to Love” – Queen
“Don’t You Forget About Me” – Simple Minds
“Footloose” – Kenny Loggins
