I am what you would call starstruck. I always dream about meeting certain actors and actresses. Why can I be like everyone else and like the boy next door?
 
Dear Starstruck,
Stars shine brightest in magazines and interviews. In real life, celebs have to brush and floss just like the rest of us. That said, many girls like to read up on the rich and famous. Which is fine—unless you’re waking up miserable because you aren’t a certain actor’s best friend or main squeeze. If it’s no longer fun to be a fan, get busier with you’re here and now. 
 
Take up a new sport or instrument. Start a monthly book club with friends and maybe even their moms. Take an acting class and if your community has a theater, audition. You may be a star yourself someday—but you’ll still have to brush and floss! As for the boy next door, perhaps you don’t yet feel ready for the roller coaster of real romance.  And that’s fine.

I'm ugly and chubby! I get like repeats if the day papa died! I cry alot! I'm scared alot! I still suck my thumb! weird things happen to me I hear my name being called noones calling my name The Shadow is so scary it's a thing that follows mr and stuff but not a ghost at all! It mentally connects! I always are scared someone else will die! I have hypoglycemia,a hear prob and hurt foot! I get confused easily and "leave" myself and change bodies! I have scary thoughts! I worry alot! How should I cope,how can u relate etc! Be thorough please! Remember I can't talk to any1 comfotablu! I often wanna die!! I have alit of grief! OMG! I've been having the same problem! I recently got obsessed with this soccer player from the Spanish team. His name is Fernando Torres and I just can't stop thinking about him. Staring at pix of him all day is starting 2 get distracting and a waste of time. It's really frustrating dealing with hormones and logic. Hope I can learn to control my need for a "fernando torres daily dose". xP

Hey girly, mood swings are totally normal, especially when you're going through as much as you are. However, if it really starts to affect your everyday life, like grades dropping, friends not wanting to hang with you, then you should seek some help and at least talk to a teach that you trust, or a guidance counselor. Sometimes, it really just helps to get things off your chest and have someone understand.

I know you don't want to hear this girly, but you NEED to talk to someone if you want to feel better. They will know exactly what to do, as they've dealt with stuff like this before. Talk to a teach that you trust, or a guidance counselor, if you don't feel comfortable talking to one of your parents or another family member.

Hey chicky, ok, I'm here to answer your ?'s!

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your family members! Trust me when I say that I know exactly what you're going through. My mom just passed away. As for your appearance, you are not ugly! You're beautiful, you just don't see it. Someday you will, I promise. It's totally normal to cry and have flashbacks. They will get better over time. I know you don't want to talk to anyone, but trust me when I say that you REALLY need to. I know it's scary, but school guidance counselors have heard it all! They won't think you're weird, or crazy or anything.

My favorite quote is "Tough times don't last. Tough people do." And that's especially true. Things WILL get better. Trust me on this one because I've been through plenty, and it's always gotten better. Your grief will lessen over time and although you'll still miss everyone, you'll be able to go through the day and not think about it every second. It just takes time. You need to keep yourself occupied with a hobby, or a passion. Hang out with your friends. Try a sport (that'll help you to get in shape, and meet people too!). Take a class, like art or something. Keep yourself busy, and keep meeting new people. That should help. Thinking about you.

Honey it sounds like youre going through a lot. However this is all something thats really hard to deal with by yourself. As for me helping, i dont think theres a lot i can do. There are such things at teen help hotlines where you can call and anonymously talk to people. I think this will really help you. Heres a number: 866 4 U TREVOR. MOD MOD MOD!!!soBone of my my best friends is awesome,but when i go around my other friends...she flips!! idk what to do!wen i try too talk too her,she always thinks im going too leave her in the dust with some new friends and she always wants too hang with me 24/7....i dont know what to do with this problem...and dont say talk too her cause i tried that!!! But if shed hanging w someone else she wants me to go away and sometimes leaves me in the dust and likes to cause fights! Idk wat to do! She doesn't act like my bff in front of ppl and I barely trust her! She only wants to hang w me 24/7 if she can't find someone else and if I want to tell someone else somryjig it don't work w our her being mosey but yet I can't be!!!




Well if you want to hang out with other people you can invite her along. If shes not up for that then tell her sorry i want to hang out with these people and just do it. Hey girl, I am sorry but this is difficult for me. I can relate in that I have lost lots of loved ones that I was close to. I know it is really tough. You have to try to move on, without forgetting them. And I know that is tough. I would try to think of the positive things in life. Think of good things about yourself instead of bad. Tell yourself how great you are in the morning instead of how ugly you (think) you are. Put up post-it notes around your room with positive messages. Otherwise I am not really sure how to help you since you don't want to talk to anyone. I guess just don't give up. Your life is definitely worth living. Don't ever give up!

Hey girl, guidance counselors have offices within your school building. Just ask a teacher for directions to it: you should be able to walk in and meet with a counselor or set up an appointment for sometime during the week.

Hey girl, I've definitely experienced break ups but I haven't had an eating disorder (and that's a way good thing too -- no girl should have one). I do have friends or KNOW girls who have though so I know how serious it is and that is affects more than them: it affects everyone around them. It's so important to take care of yourself, stay positive and be healthy.

Hey girl, that's probably because they're shorter or younger. BMI is a body ratio with your height and rate and one of the tools the doc uses to make sure you're maintaining a healthy weight. While that weight may be healthy for someone four feet and under for height, it is definitely not healthy for a girl who's five feet and taller. Trust me.

Hey girl, the weight is something that really stood out though and is a major red flag. I'm saying this as someone who has heard other people talk like that and develop eating disorders (REALLY not good and REALLY scary). You need to realize you're healthy and beautiful because I def would hate to see you go down the path they did. It was a really rough one and heartbreaking to watch.

Hey girl, first of all, positivity please! You are NOT hideous at all! You're gorgeous. You should NOT be aiming to get your weight down to 60 pounds (trust me, you'll be very sick at that weight; your bod won't be able to sustain itself.) Your BMI is fine for your height so please don't diet -- it isn't healthy. As for celeb lookalikes, while I can't really tell you which (your friends can though!) I think what's more important is realizing you're beautiful deep down. You don't have to look like anyone else to be uniquely and wonderfully you inside and out.

Hey girl, I'm way sorry to hear about your cousin. I know what that's like to lose a loved one. What helped me get through it, however, was knowing they're in a better place and talking to someone. As for your father, know the same applies for him too. If you're having flashbacks, however, you really need to let someone know (a counselor, your mother, a friend, etc.) I know it may seem like you're held down by grief, but not talking to anyone is what is holding you down and keeping yourself from moving on. Take a stand and get help. These are some big issues you can't deal with alone. As for your body image, confidence is really important. Know you ARE beautiful and be sure to talk care of yourself. While I can't relate to what you're going through, I can tell you what I have before: THERE IS HELP OUT THERE and PEOPLE WHO WILL REACH OUT if you just take their hand. PLEASE talk to a counselor about all this. Those are some big probs for such a young girl and no one could handle it on their own.

I know how you feel - I can be really shy around guys too!  Sometimes it helps if you just think of him as another person you'd like to get to know as a friend - that takes the pressure off of feeling like you have to impress him.  Also, remember all the reasons why you are a fab person to talk to - like your sweet, funny, and smart personality!  Having that extra confidence will make it a little easier to get started.    If you can come up with a few ideas of what to talk about ahead of time, that might help too.  Good luck, girlie!

Try two things.  First, remind yourself that this is going to make you feel better - by taking blood, the doctors will be able to figure out what has been making you dizzy and can fix it!  Second, focus on a good thing about your day - looking forward to having your fave meal for dinner or hanging out with a friend later on can make the needle seem not-so-bad.  It'll be over really quick, promise!  Just look away and have a chat with mom while they're doing what they need to do. <3 You'll be fine!

It's totally normal to feel like bad things happen to ONLY us, and it's really easy to think that everyone else understands the world better than we do.  And honestly, the best way to work through your fears is actually to share them with other people.  But if you don't want to do that, just try to take deep breaths and see the good things in your life.  Don't lie to yourself - sure you feel sad about losing loved ones and you might feel scared sometimes, but you have positive things in your life every day!  Whether that good thing a favorite shirt, a family member who makes you happy, a hobby/interest that you really love, or a cause you believe in, try to focus on it to get you through. Once you start trying to find good things in your life, you'll spot them everywhere. <3

So today while playing man hunt(sorta a tom boy) Justin bebier comes speeding up the street and he's goin to my friends house cause their his best friend. Well.. A lot of the people I wa with and know had meet him before. Justin comes speeding by wen we r already walking up to my friends house with everyone. Wen Justin gets out we say hello, he stares at me for a sec, then walks inside. A minute later my friend comes out and we ask him if he wants to play, but he and Justin walk inside without saying anything. Totally rude!!! To top it off, we go back to playing, and a friend of Justins and i think someone famous comes down to talk to us cause Justin complained that eariler in the week, someone had said someone had said some gay stuff, but those people didn't even live in our neighborhood, but they believed us and told us to have fun. We were all scared to death wen they were comin down though. Justin was a jerk to us though.....ughhh. TRUE STORY

*MOD* I used to be best friends with this guy, we had a great history. He would let me borrow his jacket, talk to me while i was in detention, talk to me when i was cheering and he was inelgible, compliment me on my singing,hug me around the waist, let me tease him, teased me, gave me high fives when teachers were around so we wouldnt get in trouble for "PDA", and he showed alot of interest in me. I started to have feelings for him, so of course my "wing women" stepped in and asked him if he likes me. He refused to answer and smiled and blushed. I thought "He has to like me for acting like that!" One day he heard from someone that I MIGHT like him(which I do) but he jumped to conclusions and dropped like that like he never knew me. I could have sworn he had feelings for me because he's not emotional and doesnt give compliments often. Why might he be acting like this? p.s. all my guy friends think he likes me and some are good friends with him.

All you do is take an old pair of jeans, fold them inside out and cut right where the pants split, so that you're left with a really really short skirt. Then sew the bottom together, add a strap and decoratre it. It will defintely be a one of a kind purse. Smile

I feel like this sometimes, I always want to be an actress or singer, but then I think about it and it's like, I really don't want people to mob me and ask for my autograph and stuff. I'm pretty shy in real life so being a star seems cool, but when I really think about it, I just think about the bad things about it.
