How can I shake up my wardrobe, since I don’t have very many clothes? My inventory: 6 jeans, 12 shirts, 3 sweaters.-EmilyThe best way to shake up a limited wardrobe is to find layers and key items that can be mixed and matched into a bunch of different outfits. One clutch shirt could be worn with a pair of cute skinny jeans and flats for a trip to the mall with your BFFs. The same shirt can be paired with a pencil skirt and heels for a fancy dinner out with the ‘rents. It’s all about recycling! Step one on the road to fabulosity is to organize. Put those 6 jeans and those 12 shirts into 3 categories: 1) dress up 2) dress down 3) either way. That way, you know what you can work with. The next step is to play with some trends. This spring is all about light jackets with a cropped sleeve. Pair this with one of your cute tees, skinny jeans and gray boots for a friend’s party. Wear the same jacket over a casual dress and flats for a night out with your BF. The most important thing to remember when you’re trying to spice up a wardrobe is accessories, accessories, accessories! Sometimes it’s a lot easier (and cheaper) to change up a favorite outfit with some chunky bangles, a knitted beret and a light scarf instead of buying a whole new mess of clothes.

i know how you feel my bf was joking around one day and said he always saw me wearing the same pants and shoes that was completely randome cause i wear different stuff all the time but my mom heard and she mad me go buy clothes with her(interestin)i got more clothes just most of it i would never wear (ever)

Mod, There's this reeeaallllyyyy HOT new kid in my grade. It's his first day and already 23 girls asked him out! All the girls are breaking up with there boy friends to ask him out! I like him and want to get to know him so we could go out, but the problem is that he's not in any of my classes, so idk how to get to know him, if I can't even see him. I don't want to be like the other girls and come off as trampy and shallow. How can I make myself stand out? I'm pretty, but not pretty as the other girls, and I'm sick, so my voice is all cracked and I'm really loud, so I sound drunk when I talk. What can I do to get him like me?

yeah i was just at the mall and i was in ae, abercrombie, and hollister but i didnt buy anything because it was like $40 for a t-shirt!!!!! I am like are you serious!?!?!?! then i went to coach and it was $280.00 for a bracelet!!!! so i bought earrings for $2.00 earrings at amuse.

ok here is my prob. there is this boy who nobody really likes because he is mean, a teachers pet, etc. I hate him. He lives in the house behind me. The day before easter he came to my house with candy. I know he likes me ( i am sure because he always comes to my house to borrow my 'math book') now i am afraid he will ask me out when i go back to school. I dont know what to do and I am scared please help!!!!!!!!

ok you guys are all complaning that u cant find cute shirts for low prices. my advice: LOOK AROUND. you dont have to shop at coach and barneys, or whatever. american eagle, a&f, pacsun, hollister, gap, jcrew, urban outfitters, h&m, target, TJMAXX, Victoria's Secret or any boutique in ur town. they all have good prices and SUPER cute clothes. if this is still pushing ur budget hit the sale rack. u'll find great stuff and super low prices. good luck chicas. make good fashion choices.

wow... i just noticed that this is sumthing i sent! lol! i went 2 a store cause i convinced my mom 2 take me shopping, so now i have a few more clothes! lol! btw, everyone talks about skinny jeans, which look HORRIBLE on me. i have NO accessories, and with the very little i have, my mom still wants me 2 go through my clothes and thin out my closet!!! i just cant live with that little clothes!!! i got rid of contraptions i don't use (i had 2 flat irons, a ton of toys i had when i wuz a kid and dont play with anymore, etc.) now im gonna donate it so i can get more money 4 clothes. so...ya. but this REALLY helped.i got tanks, and im layering stuff and w/stuff that doesn't fit, im gonna donate. so i'll have more cash.

Hey go to Aeropostale. On the clearance rack they have cute shirts for only like 5 to 10 bucks. Also you could save money up for like 2 weeks or so, and then plan on a cerain date, that u and ur friends should go shopping together. Don't 4get you can buy a dollar plain white shirt and decorate it buy ironing on graphics or photos and then decorate it with markers and stuff which makes a totally cute shirt. Also you can find American Eagle and HOllister clothes at GoodWill for only like 2 dollars. Hope this helps!!

everyone says hollister is so exspensive but they do have really good sales!! i dont buy anything over $20 when i go there. they have a bunch of things that are $9 - $15 and i think those are pretty good prices right?? same thing with american eagle and abercrombie. ooo and FOREVER 21 is a great store!! they have tons of cute clothes for about $6!!

hey emily! if i were you, i would go to stores like Marshalls or Wet Seal where you can get clothes that still look nice for great prices. That way you can incorporate new pieces with your old! Or just try good will! they always have cute vintage stuff there! (:

misslissyleigh: OK here are the staples. things every girl should have in her closet. 1 pair of skinny jeans. 4-6 bright camis 1 black tee 1 white tee 3 colored tees. 1 sweater 1 blazer 1 skirt with all of these things you can do ANYTHING. as for the trends, you can try and incorporate some trendy items each season BUT def do not totally change ur wardrobe every season. also. these are just the staples. get some things that really go with your style as well. ALSO ASSORIZE. that is one thing that will make or break an outfit. Some good places to find these things are: AE A&F Hollister Gap Banana Republic Gap PacSun J.Crew Victorias Secret TJ MAXX any department store claires just shop around and find things that you really like. remember find your personal style. that is priceless. lots of love.

Wow,I have 2 dresser drawers filled with pants,and also have some hanging up in a closet.I have shirts laying out nd some I never wear in drawer and some hanging up.I have two pairs of leggings(where I live,my family calls them leggins)they are black nd gray.I never wear them nd I never wear skirts.I wear t-shirts,jeans,hoodies,long sleeve shirts,nd gym pnts.I always wear casual and comfortable outfits.Nothing dressy.
