Ouch. Your birthday isn’t a national holiday, but you definitely expect your BFF to remember the day that’s all about you—and to help you celebrate and make a big fuss. That’s one of the things best friends are great for. Is there a reason she might have spaced on the big day? Maybe something in her life—like a problem at home—has her mind preoccupied. While it wouldn’t necessarily be an excuse, at least it could explain it a little. Still, her forgetfulness hurt your feelings, so don’t say, “I shouldn’t worry about it.” Is she usually thoughtful and considerate of you, or does she have a track record of thinking only of herself? If you decide she’s worth keeping as a friend, go ahead and remind her of the little date that passed her by. Let her know you’re bugged, and give her the opportunity to make it up to you. If she seems truly apologetic, let it go—until next year, that is!

MOD!!! MOD!!! MOD!!! ok I'm 14 and I'll be turning 15 in less than 2 months, I still haven't had my period yet, even though all of my friends have... They all say I'm lucky,and I know I robablly am, but it makes me feel really weird, I know the latest age is supposed to be 16, but still is there anything that could e wrong with me? You're probably just fine! There's no such thing as a latest age to get your period, it really just depends on your body and your activity level. Often times, very slender or very active girls (like dancers, gymnists and runners) don't get their periods until later into their teen years.

Having your bff forget your birthday isnt something you should forget. Its prtty important for you and she should know that. If this hasnt happened before, just bring it up without blaming her for anything. Say something like "I hope someone gives me a _____ for my birthday". If she does this semi regularly, let her know it bothers you but dont be mean. Hope that helped and happy bday!

Maybe she didn't remember. Let her off the hook this time, but if she does it again take in consideration that maybe she just doesn't want to be your friend. Just forgive her and trust her. Ask her if she needs to tell you anything. Good luck!

Mod******* I like this boy, and I told him i liked him. He promised he wouldnt tell anyone. Then I begged him to tell me who he liked. So after begging for a long time he told me. if ur friend forgets ur birthday, u should talk 2 her about it. but b4 u do, u need 2 think about whether u have told her about ur birthday or u just assumed she knew (if u've been BFFs 4 years and she has remembered it b4, she has no excuse 4 4getting it, but if she's a new BFF, try 2 remember if u've ever told her about ur birthday). if she did know about ur birthday, talk 2 her nicely about it. explain that ur birthday just passed, and ur wondering why she hasn't said anything. if u normally do something special w/ ur BFF on ur birthday, maybe that invitation is usually her reminder. if ur BFF didn't know when ur birthday was, tell her that ur so sorry for not telling her and maybe decide 2 have a fun night 4 the 2 of u 2 celebrate ur birthday. and make sure u know when ur BFF's birthday is, 'cause it really hurt u when she missed yours, so it would hurt her if u missed hers. good luck!!!

Could you just go out to dinner with everyone? Or, because it'll be nice out by then, if there's a drive-in movie theatre semi-nearby, rally the troops and pack a huge picnic, some soccerballs, etc, and plenty of lawn chairs and blankets for when the movies begin!

MODDDD!!! I have gotten my period once before, only once and that was like the beginning of February, the VERY beginning, and of course i havent gotten it since..it only lasted for three days when i got it too. Should it be coming or something, or is this normal? When will it be back? Or is there no way to know?
It can be pretty irregular during the first few months. There's really no way to know when it will come next exactly until your body learns its pattern. Hang in there, it'll show up again sooner or later

wow that hurts. if my friend forgot my birthday i would feel the same way. how long have u known her? 5 years? 1 year? did u tell her when your birthday was? maybe she's planning a huge party later? but u should definitely tell her that it was your birthday cuz if u don't next year will be the same. i totally agree maybe she's freaked about a test or something big comming up.no matter what she's your best friend, if she supports you and treats u like a friend then u shouldn't worry that much. if she does remembers later laugh about it. she's gunna feel a little embarrassed about forgetting your birthday and after that hopefully she won't forget it again.

that's so mean of ur friend! well i would try 2 bring up birthdays in a conversation, text, or IM. Or say something like "My parents got me the new iPod for my birthday." u know, tell her in a kinda subtle way. If she still doesn't get it, come clean and tell her that ur birthday was recently and that it really hurt u that she didn't remember. WHOA. that is like the deepest i have been 2day. there are many ways 2 deal w/ this... 1. just ask her "what day is today??" 2. bring something cute to school & if she asks where you got it, say "a gift for my b-day" 3. shrug it off, i 4get stuff all the time 4. throw yourself a party and invite all yuor friends, when she gets the invitation she will definetely remember 5. assume she is planning a surprise party 4 you heres what happenend 2 me:i told my friends i was thinking about having an indoor pool party over break (this is in winter) and my freind was like "no offense, but secret meeting without you!!" i was joking, like "are you going to throw me a surprise party??" and she said "yeah. oh, man you found out." so i kept thinking she was going to have a party, and when i came over 2 her house, every time i would be prepared for ppl jumping out @ me. but, she never even scheduled the party. she never even though about it again and i never wanted 2 ask her, so i might have a half birthday in the summer...
