I need advice plz. O.K. so my cousin is making me mad. She's 15 and I’m 12 and I feel like she’s taking my friends. She doesn’t really fit in all that great with other freshmen because she’s home schooled. and I do fit in with people. So anyways, suddenly she's 'best friends' with a few of my friends and they seem to wanna hang out with her more because she’s 15! It’s annoying. Can u help?

Well, since it is hard for her to make friends otherwise, it’s good that she’s making friends. But when she starts “stealing” your friends, that’s a problem. Have you tried talking to her about the situation? Let her know that you’re glad she’s made friends and all, but you’re starting to feel left out because they’re choosing her over you. It might be hard to convince her to make her own friends if it’s so hard for her to make friends in general, but maybe you can at least get her to be a little more conscious about including you since they were your friends first.You might also want to talk to your friends, too. Let them know that it’s cool if they want to be friends with her, but don’t use her just because she’s older. Let them know that you’re feeling left out and hopefully they’ll make an effort to include you. But in the long run, you may just have to accept the fact that they’re friends now; and just as with any other friend, you’re going to have to share. No one can be two places at once!<3 Jessie M.

Try spending some girl time with your mom by watching a movie together or doing something else you enjoy. Then try asking her, politely for more space. She's just looking out for you and she means well. You can compromise with her for more independence and prove that you deserve it by being responsible. About the myspace and putting your name and address on the site, she really is concerned about your safety, and I think that's a good thing. -lauren

~MOD~ I just have found out that I am really interested in religion.I've learned about Buddhism,Muslims,and Mormons(Which is alot like my religion but I just found out that!)I really love learning about other religions!Is there a carreer for something to do with religion?I'm just curious....
You can totally study comparative religion in college, a lot of people do and then will go into international studies or become historians or anthropologists. Good for you for finding something you love! -lauren

MOD!!! Ok this may sound weird but i have a huge crush on my fourth cousin(we are not blood related) He's like 18 and i am 13. I met him last summer and we have been talking over IM ever since. MOD Boys in my grade wind me up because they know i stand up for myself and have my opinions and I can't ignore them because it isn't just that simple and they always say mean stuff to me and i stand up for myself. and one boy said yeah well after what i heard no one is going to want to go near you. I thought what does that mean and even though i know he probs made it up because he didn't have another comeback still made me wonder?

Laura (MOD) well we talk and play around at track but never usually at school in classes. i dont have any classes with him at shcool so ya that might be the reason. except the school sometimes organizes these classes like every other friday and hes in mine. idk. and like in capture the flags he wouldnt tag me or anythin. but it was boys vs. girl so he might've just been giving me a break. and also he was talking about me to haleigh but she wouldnt tell me wht he said. is that enuff info?

MOD help!!!! i have a big problem that has been eating away @ me 4 days. i go 2 an all girls middle school an dim in 7th garde. theres this girl in 6th grade, lets call her... liz. i have no idea why, but NO ONE likes her. ALL of the girls in her class are mean to her and make fun of her behind her back( but she knows about it). i dont know why, a lot of people think she is wierd and i dont know why. i kind of do too, but i think it is because everyone else thinks shes wierd and now i look at her differently. this has been going on all year, but i thought she was ok. anyway, she ran for secretary of student council this week. she lost. i am always nice to her because theres no reason not to and she needs at least aquaintances. she has NO friends. im not exaggerating. so we have the same after school sport and we were talking because we werent playing. i told her i voted for her and that she had a good speech. but then she said something like this: "thanks, but to tell you the truth when i heard the announcements, i went into the bathroom and cried. i wish it wasnt as much of a popularity contest or i might have won. everyone hates me." then she started to cry. i couldnt say that everyone likes her because its not true. so i told her about how i had a hard time in 6th grade and if she needed to talk to email me. i told my mom the whole story and now she wants me to become friends with her, but i dont really want to. we dont have any of the same interests and its not cool to hang out with people from your lower grades at my school. plus im afraid people will start to be mean to me or laugh at me. is this selfish? i want to help her but i dont know how. this has been crushing me inside because i hate to see people sad. i know what shes giong through because i had a hard time starting in a new school and meeting new people. what should i do?!?!
I think you did the right thing. It sounds like she just needs a friend and someone to talk to. You can continue to be that friend in school. Laura

MOD~ My little sister is in 5th grade, and one the boys in her class likes me. He writes notes to me a lot and draws me pictures. My older sister says I shouldn't write him back or anything because then I'll lead him on, like getting his hopes up.
