Granola Go Go Bars


Calling all carb-lovers! Get in the habit of healthy snacking! Here’s a sweet treat that fulfills your cravings without packing on the calories. Whip some up for a grab it and go filler upper or freeze it for a later date.

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. butter (unsalted)
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2 cups whole oats
1/4 sunflower seeds
1/4 chopped almonds
1/2 raisins
1/2 dried chopped mixed fruit (apricots, cranberries etc.)

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, honey, vanilla and butter. Bring to a boil and then lower the heat. Stir until completely mixed.
Combine oats, seeds, nuts and fruit in a large mixing bowl. Stir the melted sugar mixture into the dry mixture. Spread in a baking pan and refrigerate 3 hours until completely cooled and firm.
