My parents have talked a lot about moving lately, and to a place I've always loved. I would love to live there, but it's across the country. I finally have a BF I’m really comfortable around and everything's going great! But, moving would also be a great opportunity for my dad. What should I do???-volleyball_chicaWhat a tough thing to go through, babe. I recently had a similar situation -- my parents were considering moving to Florida and wanted me to go with them. I love Florida, but I have an entire life here in Maryland that I didn't want to leave. Luckily my parents decided against it so I didn't have to really make a final decision; but I definitely understand how you're feeling.Unfortunately, since you're not an adult yet, you'll have to go wherever they go. In a way, it's a good thing -- you don't have to worry about making such a huge decision because you really have no choice. But of course it definitely stinks... because you have no choice!I know it's tough because you have a boyfriend and all, but honestly, boys come and go. Sometimes these types of opportunities are rare. So try to think less of what you'd be leaving and more of what you'd be gaining. A chance for some change and excitement in your life. An opportunity to live somewhere you love. And if it's a great opportunity for your dad, who knows what other great things it could bring for the rest of your family. Try to look at the positive side as much as possible -- there's no use in worrying yourself over things you have no control over.<3 Jessie M.

MOD:: my family is thinking of moving to a new house in the same town, because we're "outgrowing" our house...im torn! i love my house now because theres so many memories there, ive lived in this house my whole life! but i want a new house because, well, its nicer! any advice?
Hey girlie! Don't be afraid of change. You can still hold onto the memories of your old house through pics and your thoughts. Just think how cool it will be to have a brand new house to make new memories in!...Renee

Hey volleyball_chica! I know what Ur goin thru. I mover (way) outta state a few months ago. It was (and still kinda is) really hard to leave everyone behind. The "you'll make new friends!" stuff never really helps, right? But the move was really worth it, and I enjoy it tons. Hope this is a lil encouraging!

there is nothing you can do about moving its your parents disition. (sad to say) i moved to just about a year or 2 ago and actualy the first year waasn't the greatest but right know i'm BFF with the most popular girl in the school.

MOD i feel like my life is crumbling. in the past month... -me and my bf broke up -my science average is a C and ive never had a C in a class before -my grandma is dying -ive been thinking ALOT about my cousin that died im usually a happy person but lately ive been working to get nowhere basically...well thats what it seems like. my science teacher is a horrible teacher (its gotton so bad that me,my mom, our schools principle all had a conference with my science teacher for an hour and a half and i was basically talking bad to her face) its just gotton so bad i really dont know what to do anymore! ive talked to my bff and she says that i have done all that i can do but i really cant handle it anymore. we have 2 and a half weeks left and idk if i can handle it for that long!!! this teacher has had a horrible impact on me. the things that she has said and done have gotton me so mad and has interfered with how i think, feel, and react to my friends and family. last week...my mom said that we wernt able to fly to florida because of how high the airfare was and i broke down in tears because the teacher has just gotton me so mad about everything. i really just dont know what to do anymore. and btw..the teacher cant be fired because she has been teaching at my school for more than 10 years. and i just feel like my life has been messed up because of her.

MOD!!!*** So my friend's crush asked her out tody but she realized she wasnt ready for a relationship and when she told him that, he was really nice about it and they're just going to be friends now. Im very proud of her and what she did but now shes really worried about the teasing that she thinks is going to come tmw. What should I tell her- ive never been in a situation like that and i dont know what to say except "dont worry about them, you should just ignore it" but that doesnt seem to be helping. MOD ok i hav 3 questions 1) I really like my bf and we want to g out but our 'rents think were to young to go just the 2 of us so we got my bff to go b/c they will let us go then...well eveyr weekend we plan on going but then somthing comes up and i think this is hurting the relationship...any tips??? 2) I've had my period 4 a year now and everything is normal but wenever i get my period i get super crabby! i learned to control it but somtimes i still get a bit crabby like today i was trying to do my science and my bff kept putting paper in my face so i asked her to stop like 10 times then i told her that i wasnt heling her anymore and to grow up. well now she is mad at me...wut do i do?? and is it ok to be nervous b4 putting in a tampon b/c i can like pretty much get them in but i always get nervous and then i cant get them in all the way..any tips? 3)my bff likes this guy and all she talks about is the guy!!! its driving me nuts! that is all we hv been talking about 4 like MONTH OR TWO! well i told her that i am happy that she likes him but im tired of talking about it and all she does is scream at me and say that she helped me get my bf wen that only took a week not a month or two and she is driving me crazy!! i jsut had to sign off all of my accounts online and turn off my phone b/c she has been calling and IMing me so much! wut do i do? i hav told her to calm down but she wont and i am about to rip my hair out!

I wouldnt enjoy moving, but at the same time i would like a little more adventure... I have only moved twice in my life and I dont even remember the houses. I was like 4 and have been living in the same house for 8 years!

I'm sorry... I know how you feel. We had to move from our old house which I was very sad about... and now our new house is being taken away from us and I have no idea where we are going to live. Its all very complicated. But anyway... back to YOUR problem. Try to look at the good things about moving. A bigger house. New friends. A clean slate. Maybe even you're own room! There are so many cool new opportunities so try to have fun with it! ♥, Cassi

MOD*** And girls!*** One of my friends compleatly ditched this year for the popular kids... and now she says she misses me casue those kids aren't "her real friends" (no derrr) but anyway, I just got settled in with new friends... cause i had to make all new ones, and now she wants me back cause "i'm her other half" I'm afraid of gettign hurt again!!! I feel your pain. We moved right before 6th grade ( as if it wasn't bad enough!) and I was really upset. I had so many friends and everything was great. It totally isn't fair but there isn't anything I can do about it, I learned. I can cry about it, but it won't help. Trust me I tried many times to convince my 'rentsthat we shoyldn't move. Parents are usually pretty strict about these things so the best thing you van do is accept it and try to make new friends. But never forget the old! They will always be the ones you know you can turn to for anything. BFF is true. Keeping in touch is important. Good Luck xoxoxo

MOD!!!!!! My Grandpa died today. I worried cause tomorrow at school I will end up crying and people will call me a crybaby. Also I think the funeral/burial will be friday I worried. I won't be able to sit through it. I can't look at his in the casket so please give me some advice.

It's always hard losing someone close to you. People at school will be understanding that you lost someone you loved. Hey Mod I have this problem. I have these 3 friends and two of my friends i'll call one T and S and the other is E lol sorry if it's confusing right now. Well T and S don't like E and E doesn't like them either. I try to hang out with them equally but it's hard for me because they won't go anywhere near eachother at school. O yea and E has this friend that I just can't stand. I try to be nice to her friend but Bleh she just drives me crazy so I feel like i've been a little distant from e. What should i do?
It's great that your still friends with E even if your other friends don't like her. If you feel distant from her maybe you guys should have a girls night to catch up on things (just you two) just try not to get caught in the middle of your other friends and E. there's only so much you can do, and if you talk to E I'm sure she'll appreciate what your doing and that you miss her. *Sarah

Once my period was really heavy and I made sure to double up with a tampon and pad. Later that day at school, my crush walked up to me and asked me what was on the back of my pants.
