I have this friend and she is in love with a senior in high school who doesn’t even know that she exists. We are freshman and she stalks him. She found his paper and she kept it and still has it. One day she even almost got ran over by him and she was fine with it as long as it was him that ran her over. Also, he has a girlfriend and she wishes that the girl would die so that he would be single. She is no longer a fun person because she talks about him nonstop, it is so annoying that sometimes I even block her calls and texts. How can I get her to stop her stalkerish behavior.

Infatuation isn't uncommon at this age (which is why so many parents are hesitant to let their kids date too young, for fear of infatuation being misinterpreted as a stronger feeling). She will probably grow out of it, and will actually probably look back and feel silly about it.But for now, I can definitely understand that you, as her friend, are tired of hearing her go on and on about it. If her infatuation is affecting her to the point that she can't seem to have any fun otherwise, you should talk to her about it.Don't rag on her for liking him so much when he doesn't even know her. That will only cause her to become defensive and feel hurt. Instead, tell her you understand she likes him, but unfortunately he is taken and she has to accept that and move on. It's not healthy to pine after something unobtainable. Let her know that you are her friend and you are always there for her, but it's starting to affect your friendship because it's really tiring that all she ever talks about is him. See if you can come to a compromise of limiting how much she talks about him around you. Hopefully she'll realize that her infatuation with this guy is causing her to be a bad friend and will make her at least want to refrain somewhat for the sake of your friendship.<3 Jessie M.

MOD- okay, so lately at school (and by lately, i mean this whole week so far) a lot of the kids are bugging me. first, i'm always tired at school cuz i have to get up at 5:45 am every morning while everyone else gets up an hour later. i am not a morning person, so i usually complain how tired i am. all of the boys are saying that i'm depressing and they never hesitate to publicly humiliate me about it. also, people think that im really weird so sometimes, when i say stuff that doesn't make sense, they just mock me about it and publicly humiliate me. during math class some of the girls were talking to some of the boys about this guy that i met over spring break. i told those girls not to tell anyone about that, cuz i don't think my private life is anyone's business! also, a lot of the boys usually pretend to flirt w/ me, but they do it as a joke, to make me look bad. also, i used to have a ton of chocolate and doughnut cravings, but i don't have them as much, cuz im trying to watch what i eat. but now, everyone's just acting like i'm some kind of chocolate-doughnut eating maniac. all of this is driving me INSANE! how do i get this to stop? i told them to stop, but it only adds to their satisfaction, but i don't wanna squeal either (people who squeal at my school get VERY bad reputations. what should i do?
I know it's easier said than done, but you have to ignore these guys. People are always looking for someone to pick on to make themselves feel better, so if you just act like their comments don't phase you, they'll find someone else to mess with...Renee

---MOD--- I'm really insecure about how I look. I have bad acne that I try to cover up. I'm pretty much convinced that I'm ugly and that's why I don't have a BF. Lately, everyone's talking about who likes who and I found out that no guy like, likes me. One guy called me ugly a long time ago and that's stuck with me, too. MOD my friend and her mom have a horrible relationship. to make things worse, she is an only child and doesnt have a dad. her mom has called her a "mistake" and said to her "if i believed in abortion, you wouldnt be here". now her mom is making her take piano lessons and she HATES piano lessons. her mom bosses her around and makes her do chores while she has friends over. i dont know how to help her get through this. any advice?

~MOD~ I used to do swimming (last year) and we did tons of excersises to strengthen your abs. But now instead of a taut, skinny tummy, the muscles are big and it looks like fat! Arent muscles supposed to look toned? HELP!

Xxmake.me.love.youxX- dont worry girl! you just haven't found the right guy yet. anyway, relationships can lead to a lot of pain and drama. there could be somebody who likes you and is afraid to speak up or something. as for your acne, you should just try to take care of your skin. wash it every day, blah, blah blah. you might be able to find some great skin care stuff or whatever. for your self confidence, do this. next time you go shopping at your favorite store, buy something you really really like. it could be clothes, a really cool piece of jewelry, a purse, makup, ect. when you get home, pick out your favorite things to wear(clothes, jewelry, makeup, ect.). try to wear one of these things every day. you will feel more confident. good luck!!!!

i have this problem but the other way around...maby someone can help so theres this senior guy that i met last week (hes my friends cousin) and so we hung out for like an hur and a half at this fair thing. The next thing you know, he is obsessing over me, txting me every 1/2 hour to see hows it going? or what up? and has asked me to go to prom with him 3 times (all three times i said no) its really kinda scary/weird. MOd, My dad said i should try out for the track team. I love to run, but at the same time I don't because i find it painful. SO i can't make up my mind if i should try out for the track team next year or not. Like my class ran a lap and i was the third girl to finish but i don't think that was good enough, but my dad said i did great. I can do about 8 laps in about 10min. but many of my friends can do that in less time. i'm just afraid if i try out i might not make it and i'll burst into tears.
