It was my 13th birthday and I was so excited. My parents and I had planned just to have a family celebration, but little did I know that they had something totally different in mind. It turns out they had called all my friends (including my crush) and had them come over to my house for a surprise party. That night, when I got home from soccer practice, I took a shower as usual. Being stupid, I forgot a towel, so I had to walk across the hall to my room naked. As I was about half way there I heard gasps, laughs, and “oh my goshes.” Everyone was staring at me! I was mortified! I still haven’t found the courage to talk to my crush! --Emily

Mod, I have this friend that i dance with, and she goes to my grandparents church. We like to hang out once in a while, but i want to see her more, get to know her, and be close friends. Any ideas?

Mod (Abbie) Thanks for your advice! It really helped! We do love 'dancing with the stars' and 'so you think you can dance'. I may invite her over sometime! (Our dance teacher was on 'So you think you could dance', she was in the top 10, i don't know what year it was though.)

***MOD*** I know that there is nothing that I can do about this but it is really upsetting me... Okay, me and my fam were outside over the weekend and we found a nest in an old container we somehow managed to leave outside for years and years...it had only two eggs in it and no birds were around but we left it alone. Since then there hasn't been a bird that has visited it (that we know of) and I researched and found out what kind of bird laid the eggs and that from my research, we can conclude that the eggs were abandoned. I thought about incubating them, but that wouldn't work; if they haven't been incubated for days (even weeks) they are dead because we have been having a lot of cold nights. So now I feel really bad about the eggs and worst of all, what do we do with them now that they are abandoned?? It seems mean to clean out the container or just throw away the nest or anything like that...I FEEL BAD!!!
Hey girl! You're right, there is nothing you can do for now, but the fact that you care says alot! Sometimes nature has a cruel way of managing its population, but it's how it has to be.
