Even if you are switching schools it does not mean you will not be able to still hang out with this guy. Continue talking to this guy, you guys can always just be good friends and hang out, nothing is wrong with that.

MOD-- help please! so after school my friend and i always get off on the same stop cuz we live on the same street. we either get off at one stop and cross the street, get off at another house and walk a little, or get off at the last stop and wait for her mom to pick us up or walk home. i ALWAYS wanted to walk home, but my friend never wants to. she always gets off and walks across the street. i think its cuz shes lazy nd over weight[not to be meen]. wen i ask her why she doesnt wanna walk she either says "i dont feel like it" or "my mom wont let me". i know this is just a lie. if we walk it wouldnt just be for my enjoyment it would be for her health too. also, if i could at least walk home from the last stop or a coupple of streets, i would but my mom doesnt want me too. can u please help me???? this has been a BIG problemm... hey girl! One very important lesson in life is that the only person you can change is yourself. This does not mean you need to change at all, but what this means that the only person your friend can change is herself. This is going to be really hard for you because you may know what's best for her but she may not be ready to make that change. Give your friend time and one day she will come around. ***MOD*** I'm not sure if you'll know what i should do but anyway there is this girl who i met a few years ago and now she thinks i'm her best friend and i don't really like her i tried hinting it to her but she won't leave me alone. So i really don't want to hurt her feelings or anything but i don't know what to do. Please help if you can!
Try telling her that you need more space. Offer to spend some quality time with her (like go to coffee together), but also tell her that you like to hang out with other people too. You could also invite her to hang out with a huge group of friends so that she isn't always talking to you, but you're not leaving her out. -lauren
