Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips with Strawberry Mango Salsa


Get your fiesta fix with this yummy summer snack. Not at all spicy but still scrumptious, the sweet and crunchy mix of pita chips with a zesty fruit salsa will make your mouth say Ole!

Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips with Strawberry Mango Salsa

 Ingredients For Chips:

12 flour tortillas
Vegetable oil
½ c. Sugar
4 tablespoons of cinnamon


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut each tortilla into wedges ( approximately 8 wedges per tortilla). Brush the wedges on both sided with vegetable oil. Place on a cookie sheet. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle mixture onto tortilla wedges. Bake for ten minutes or until they are crispy.

Strawberry – Mango Salsa


One large, ripe Mango
One pint of ripe strawberries,
One half of a red onion
2 tablespoons of cilantro
1 half of a cucumber
3 tablespoons of fresh lime juice


Dice mango, strawberries and cucumber into small pieces. Finely chop the onion and add to the fruit. Chop the cilantro and add to the mixture. Coat everything with the lime juice. Flavor with salt and pepper to taste.
