
Aries: The stars are urging you to reach out and connect with friends this week. Call up your bestie and ask her to join you for a run around the neighborhood or for an awesome ab workout. It’s a great time to catch up and share your fitness goals with each other. Having a partner is great motivation!

Taurus: A new moon enters your sign this month causing all sortsa new opps for you to check out. Get a free 7-day pass to a local gym and check it out, or sign up for a one-time belly-dancing class! Who knows you could be shakin’ your hips like Shakira (and get her abs too!).

Gemini: May is your month, Gem! You’re so in tune with everything--mind, body, and soul--you should put it to use! Do some homework on nutrition, chica! Find out the diff between good and bad fats. Or look up your fave fast food restaurant and try to find the healthiest meal so you know what to go for the next time your softball team rolls up to a place to eat.

Cancer: Your stars are crazy busy—you def need some meditation. If school finals have you stressin’, try yoga or tai chi. Don’t know how to do either? The library has plenty of great books or even DVDs to rent that can help you out step by step. Ommm.

Leo: This month calls for meeting some peeps who share the same passion as you. Where, you ask? A group fitness class! Having other people with you working hard can motivate you and give you that extra kick in the booty to keep on goin’. We heart cycling or kickboxing for you, lovely lioness!

Virgo: Now is the perfect time to kick start your exercise groove. It’s a great idea to set goals for yourself so you know what you’re working towards. Plus, summer is a great time to get out there and go. Sign up for a charity bike ride…and then get training.

Libra: Travel much? Just because you’re away from home doesn’t mean you should abandon your workout routine! The beach is great for running, because the resistance of the sand makes your calves get even more of a workout. Most hotels also have a gym you can use for free while you’re staying there. Check it out, sistah!

Scorpio: Your eighth house will have you eyes glued to the boob tube, or have those ear buds permanently attached to your ears. Make the most of this time and try to fit in a workout in between episodes of iCarly and Wizards of Waverly Place. A lot of cable packages offer free fitness channels, so grab that remote and flip to it.

Sagittarius: Lunar positioning is sapping you of all that fab spring zing! Be sure to energize and recharge yourself by getting a full night’s sleep. Don’t forget to turn off the TV an hour before you try to catch some shut-eye too. Dragging your butt out the door and goin’ for a run will give ya a boost, too.

Capricorn: May=busy, busy, busy! It may be time to invest in a planner or agenda, Cap! Try penciling in your workout, so it doesn’t get tossed out the window. Set up a circuit in your living room (jumping jacks, sit ups, push ups, lunges…repeat!) and attack exercising in between your homework.

Aquarius: You’re strapped for cash this month, so you may not be hittin’ up your weekly yogalates class. Did you know you can workout at home for way cheap? All you need is a couple water bottles in place of weights. Throw down a towel and try some new poses in your backyard!

Pisces: Your stars are showin’ lots o’ signs for love this week. Grab your crush or even the new cutie who moved in next door and challenge him to a basketball game. Or get your crew together and hold a game of touch football. You won’t find yourself tongue-tied while hangin’ with the cutie because you can always bring up how you kicked his butt!
