i think my face is heart shaped, but its also kinda ovalish. I have just-past-my-shoulders length hair with long layers, angles, and medium length angled sidebangs. every1 says it looks great on me, and you can do a lot of things with that cut (looks great straightened/scrunched w/ gel!)

MOD - Hey! I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday, it's long, too, and STRAIGHT. (about the length of my back bra strap). I have an oval face. Prob is, I want to go shorter (Summer isn't a good time for long hair in my book) but i don't know any cute hairstyles to go with. I have side bangs, if that helps. Thanks!!!! p. princess. P.S. My hair DOES NOT curl...so please don't suggest a style with wavy locks!!

MOD!!! my friend's neighbor dyed my hair, and didn't bleach it first... problem is, i dyed my hair black before, so bleaching was a MUST if i wanted the color to show. and guess what.? hair's still black, except for the roots of course. and she wasted a bottle of blonde and my bleach. the bleach alone was 15 dollars. i'm really upset. i specifically requested the bleaching process, and she should've known better b/c she ALWAYS does her hair. is there any way i could possibly forgive her? and how do i convince my dad to let me do it myself, and repay the 30 dollars in hair coloring tht will be needed (there is NO way he'll pay for professional)? he told me, when i complained, that 'i can never be happy' HELP! xox smiles
Hey Girl, first you should totally forgiver, she didnt mean it and she is not a proffesional, so she tried her best. If you have black hair and are trying to go lighter, I hate to say it, but you gonna need to spend the money on professional, b/c going from dark to light is prob the hardest of all hair coloring, and it will be the only way it will turn on right, plus last way longer! you'll save some money by not have to buy the dye every 2 weeks to fix it up. *Cara T*

Hey Girl, I totally know what you mean. When I had braces I was on a mostly liquid diet for a day or two, also. I ate some soft pita bread with hummus (very tasty and healthy!) or you could try smaller pasta (like orzo) that's easy to swallow without chewing. Good luck, and the pain will be gone soon! ~Callie

*MOD* I want to get my hair cut for the school year but I don't know what do get done. My face it like a roundish shape. My hair is thick and dark brown. MOD can you help me? my hair is naturally really wavy and i dont know how to make it look good. i have tried scrunching but it always ends up greasy and it feels gross. and i also dont really want to mess with blow dryers a lot this summer. have any ideas? <3liz

long side bangs are really in, it's looks nice for long hair. you could do a lot with long hair, like curl it or put it up. a nice low ponytail could look nice with the bangs as well *Sarah

*********MOD********* hey mod, im a swimmer so im always in the pool. the pool water had really damaged my hair, the ends are really dry and it allways smells of chlorine. do you know anything i can do to prevent this. i already wear a swim cap. also its really long and thick, and a light brown color. thx ********MOD********

What I do when I'm bored is set an object down in front of me and stare. Then, when I start thinking random thoughts, I right them down and make a story out of some of them. Once I thought about sushi when I was looking at a lamp and ended up playing pretend (lol, I'm too old for that...) that I was a japanese woman during world war two , and had to move some where discreet and change my name, looks, everything and try to make a living selling sushi. MOD...MOD...MOD... im a swimmer so my hair is always dry from the pool water. it also smells like chlorine... all the time. i always wear a swim cap, but my hair still reeks of the chlorine and the ends are dry as ever. any sugestions on what i should do? thx MOD...MOD...MOD...
hey girl! they make special shampoos just for swimmers like you! test one of them out and see if that helps...also using a hair moisture mask with a sweet scent might make your hair smell amazing! if that doesn't work, check in with the gal that cuts your hair and see what she recommends! I think my face is oval shaped, so yay! My hair has a lot of volume, and in case anyone wants some tips with hair with lots of volume, here's what I have to say: 1. I find that my hair is the puffiest when I've just washed it and blow-dried it. Sos if you want it puffy, shampoo! (and condition, a MUST) 2. Puffy hair CAN look good when it's short. Like, really good! Get it layered. That's what my haircut is, and it looks awesome. 3. Don't like it puffy? If you're in a hurry, brush it well and pull back in a ponytail or grab your headband. If you have some more time, straighten. (I never do, though) 4. Ugh! One thing about puffy hair: it gets TOO puffy when it rains! So put on your hood! 5. Your hair has volume and it's really long? Not the best. Takes FOREVER to brush and shampoo, and it doesn't look too amazing. 6. Two words: high ponytail.
