Hey girl! It's probably nothing, especially since your breasts are still developing. But if it hurts or you are really worried about it, ask your mom (my mom always puts my worries at ease) If she thinks its serious, she'll schedule a doc appt for you!

Can you get your period before your breasts develop?? Mine are compleatly flat, but I am breaking out a lot, I am 94 lbs and have hair down there. My mom got hers when she was in 6th or 7th grade and I am in 8th. She keeps telling me that I will probably get it soon but I'm doubtful. I'm a dancer and am pretty athletic.

Hey, yes, this is normal and many girls have them. Use cocoa butter to diminish them a bit.

Hey girl, it's totes natural for your body to grow before you have your period. Give it time and just focus taking care of you. Your monthly and everthin' else will all come in time!

Nothing like the wonders of going through puberty. It happens to all of us, or most of us but some do get it worse than others. I hate when mine get tender just when simple touching them can be weird feeling.

ok so ive had my period for like 2 1/2 years, and i havent grown since....do girls still grow after they get their period? my doctor said girls usually stop growing about a year after they get their period but she also said i was supposed to be 5'9 and im only 5'4.

ok this is kinda embarassing but i get discharge u know where. ok i guess its not that weird
but the discharge like clumps up in my down there hair anytime i go to the bathroom i have to pick it out. how can i make it stop??

Hey babe,

If this is healthy discharge, there isn't really a way to make it stop. You can wear panty liners to keep your underwear clean or keep your hair trimmed to prevent it from getting stuck, but that's about it. If, however, this is an unhealthy discharge, it can probably be fixed. Explain the situation to your doctor the next time you see him/her and see what a professional has to say!

Since you period is irregular and you can have spotting I would be sure to wear a pad throughout the entire week. If by the end of the week you haven't gotten your period for a couple days, that is when you can stop wearing the pad!

Hey Babes, Why not find out if there is a a female doc at the same office? A lot of the time docs share office space. If not, maybe your male doc can refer you to a female doc- lotsa girls would rather have someone who its easier to chat with. xo Annemarie

Hey babe, it just means you're going through puberty so it could be coming soon but there's no way to tell just when. Talk about your feelings to a friend and make sure you get plenty of sleep! Talk to a doc about the pains though.

yea. i know i got a lot of pms but i guess its normal? i only started like 5 months ago and its pretty annoying. the boys are so inmature and dont get why you are sad or happy or mad all day when they dont know that your on your period. and they also look for stuff in girls backpacks! stupid dudes.
