Week 32: Farm Frenzy

GL's fave new foodie trend? The farm-to-table movement, where ya eat foods locally grown and raised. And the end of summer is the perfect time to get to know what sprouts up naturally in your state. While you girls in Maine are garnishing your greens with radishes, chicks in Kansas are piling their plates with eggplant and okra. Not into cooking? Sites like sustainabletable.org will point ya to nearby restaurants that are on the locavore bandwagon. So fresh!

MOD, is it ok 2 do a daily workout twice that works your stomach, arms n thighs? n is it ok 2 do cardio everyday? i wanna go 4 a jog every day but idk if its good 4 u. can i? n my dad says u can only really work ur stomach daily cuz it heals faster. is this true? how can i adjust my schedule then n if i start 2 do my daily workout every other day with jogging everyday is it that good? n will it slim down my bod by the end of the month? i hav a bit of fat on my stomach im tryin 2 get rid of. will it work? plz answer!!!!!!!!!

MODERATOR, I have problems sleeping. I just lay on my bed with my eyes tightly shut, thinking about all the terrible things in my life. I try to think of happy things but it's so hard because there's not much good for me now. The bags under my eyes are noticable. My best friend even commented on them!!! Any suggestions to help me sleep?

we eat alot of vegtables from our garden and alot of times we will make veggie stir fry. we have salad every night with the lettuce in our garden and our beans and cucumbers are coming up. its convienent to have a garden because when you need the food you just pick it and that way none gets wasted. i sell cucumbers at my grandmas store and make money for clothes!!!

I'm on week 3 of The healthy you program, i really have improved, and are setting higher goals... i haven't started workouts yet.
GL is one of the best things that ever happened to me!

i hav the same prob. well, not the sleeping problem, i LUV 2 sleep. lol. but i hav a lot of bad things goin on in my life 2 n it gets really hard n confusin but even with all of it i still luv my life. i think of all the ppl that luv me n always will n the ppl i luv like my lil sis. lol. n i jus focus on the good things... this isnt very helpful but its all i can manage!! im in a hard sit right now 2 dealing with my mom n court n choosing who 2 live with. thats the hardest part becuz my mom n her rents n sis always make me feel all guilty that i chose 2 live with my dad full time 4 a lil bit. it sucks n its sooooooooo hard!!!!!!!!! n i no i could easily hate my life but i dont. jus thnk of wat it can come 2 n how u can make it better!!!!!!!

Hey girl, youre a cheerleader and I am not so I have absolutely no idea how to give you advice on doing any of those things. Ask an instructor at a dance studio or your cheerleading coach, theyll be happy that you want to improve your technique and abilities.  ~Callie

i am with you paramore2345 i want to start too but i don't know how! i am 12 and i have really muscular thighs from my karate but there is a lot of fat on them too! i also have like an inch of fa on my stomach. the whole cardio doesn't work for me i don't want muscle i want less FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont no if its just me but, when i go to the healthy you program, it doesnt have the read writing that says Read More!, and i started this program later then most people, so i need to see the past weeks but i can get to them. do you no why its like that?. and how can i fix it?

Once my period was really heavy and I made sure to double up with a tampon and pad. Later that day at school, my crush walked up to me and asked me what was on the back of my pants. I didn't know what he was talking about, so I ran to the bathroom. When I came back, I had to tell him it was ketchup.
